Caring For Your Back


How many of us don't occasional suffer from back pain.  We know that yoga is wonderful for helping with the aches and pains of our back.  Here we will focus an entire workshop on how yoga can help the back.  
 
The focus of the workshop is to teach exercises which can help relieve back pain.  We will show you what you can do on a daily basis at home to help ease pain, take control of your life and form a new life style of "Body Awareness".
 
These practices consist of:
1.    Physical exercises which include a range of motion, strengthening, stretching and
       breathing.
2.    Stress reduction practices
3.    Positive motivational reinforcement


 Pathways Yoga Systems Wellness programs are not rigid… they motivate regular exercise because:
 
•    They are modified to fit the individual needs and strengths of the student.
•    They motivate the student to reach and maintain realistic expectations while staying
      in a safety range.  
•    They stress not overdoing it to avoid the stress and fatigue that can cause injury
•    People at all levels of ability can enjoy the benefits.  

It is non-competitive but encourages participants to attend group classes thereby lessening depression and the feeling of being alone.  This Workshop is open to all.  See Calendar for dates and registration.
